Nothing really new in terms of the product features that we already know (see below) but we can confirm the price – $149.99 for the full version and $79.99 for the student version. It’s also been 3 months since the last Camera Raw updates and well over due for an update – So even if the Lightroom 6 release date slipped a few days, we believe Adobe still kept the ACR/LR update as planned.Įither way, we’ll keep you updated with the latest news as we get it. Based on the product page leaks we’ve seen during the past week at Best Buy, Amazon, NewEgg, and several others, it’s likely the disks/boxes have already been printed and are either at or waiting to be shipped to their top retailers. It’s likely that Adobe is planning on releasing LR 6 and ACR 9 without any of the new functionality or coding-bug fixes. However, we still think that Lightroom 6 is coming sooner than later (one of the leaked LR 6 pages at an Australian retailer had the release date set for March 25th). Some are speculating that because ACR 8.8 and the DNGC 8.8 were just released, that the release of Lightroom 6 may actually not come out this coming week or next. The only thing we are certain of is that the release is close… in most software releases, the retailers receive product info and inventory no more than 2 or 3 weeks in advance. But of course, with the last few rumored release dates we’ve seen, just take this one with a grain of salt. However what’s new is the release date – They had it set for April 21st. Here we have the same Lightroom 6 box that we’ve been seeing pop up from the other leaks in the last few weeks and the European retail price of €159.95.
