The list price is also listed a little bit higher at ¥17,280 vs. Updated February 25th, 2015: Amazon Japan has a pre-order page up for Lightroom 6 with a posted release date of March 20th. We still have our fingers crossed that we will hear more news later today.Īmazon Japan had a release date of March 20th posted (before they pulled the pre-order page down) so we’re pretty confident that you’ll see it be announced between now and then (see screen shot is below). Both a French and Australia site originally had today’s date listed for the release, but no word yet from Adobe.

Updated March 9th, 2015: Well, folks, March 9th is here… and from the looks of it, we’ll have to wait just a little bit longer for the release of Lightroom.
#ADOBE LIGHTROOM 6 COST UPGRADE#
We’re not sure about the upgrade version price but expect it to also stay unchanged at $79.00. These prices are unchanged from current Lightroom 5 MSRP pricing.
#ADOBE LIGHTROOM 6 COST FULL VERSION#
Nothing really new in terms of the product features that we already know (see below) but we can confirm the price – $149.99 for the full version and $79.99 for the student version. Updated March 16th, 2015: We’re just “days” away from the Lightroom 6 release, and helping confirm our suspicions, Best Buy posted Lightroom 6 for a few hours (it has since been pulled down).

#ADOBE LIGHTROOM 6 COST UPDATE#
It’s also been 3 months since the last Camera Raw updates and well over due for an update – So even if the Lightroom 6 release date slipped a few days, we believe Adobe still kept the ACR/LR update as planned.Įither way, we’ll keep you updated with the latest news as we get it. Based on the product page leaks we’ve seen during the past week at Best Buy, Amazon, NewEgg, and several others, it’s likely the disks/boxes have already been printed and are either at or waiting to be shipped to their top retailers. It’s likely that Adobe is planning on releasing LR 6 and ACR 9 without any of the new functionality or coding-bug fixes. However, we still think that Lightroom 6 is coming sooner than later (one of the leaked LR 6 pages at an Australian retailer had the release date set for March 25th). Some are speculating that because ACR 8.8 and the DNGC 8.8 were just released, that the release of Lightroom 6 may actually not come out this coming week or next. While often ACR and LR release dates are in-line, that’s not always the case (as we saw in 2/2007, 7/2008, 3/2012 and this time around). Updated March 20th, 2015: Adobe has just released Camera Raw 8.8 for Lightroom which covers 10 new cameras and more lenses – Here’s the link for both the Mac and Windows download which you can pick up directly from. Here’s a screenshot from the store translated using Google Translate (UPDATE: this page has since been removed):
#ADOBE LIGHTROOM 6 COST SOFTWARE#
The only thing we are certain of is that the release is close… in most software releases, the retailers receive product info and inventory no more than 2 or 3 weeks in advance. But of course, with the last few rumored release dates we’ve seen, just take this one with a grain of salt. However what’s new is the release date – They had it set for April 21st. Here we have the same Lightroom 6 box that we’ve been seeing pop up from the other leaks in the last few weeks and the European retail price of €159.95. This time coming from, a camera and software store in the Netherlands. Updated April 4th, 2015: A new day, a new leak. Remember, all those on Adobe’s CC plan can upgrade free as part of your Creative Cloud membership. You can also pick up your copy at Amazon now on sale. Updated April 21st, 2015: Lightroom 6 has just been announced! Check out the new features and download the free 30-day trial at.
